Legislation

The Department of Human Resources, Labour and Employment is responsible for administering the following legislation:

  • The Income and Employment Support Act opens new window and Regulations opens new window
    The Income and Employment Support Act provides legislative authority for and governs the provision of income and employment support and related services to individuals in need in Newfoundland and Labrador.

  • Support Orders Enforcement Act opens new window, shared with the Department of Justice

  • Emergency Services Act opens new window, shared with the Department of Municipal Affairs
